Today we will see the good beginnings that God had made become strained and threatened by sin. Whether it is Cain killing Abel in the Old Testament or Herod killing toddlers in Bethlehem in the New Testament the story, our story, continues to march forward into the darkness of the depravity of the human heart. In this is a warning and a lesson--sin is crouching at the door.
